God is like a puzzle company

TLR said something I thought really rather astute the other day.. I paraphrase..

" you know G-d is like the puzzle company, the puzzle company makes the puzzle pieces but it is all still a jumble, and does not look like much, until we put it together.. G-d makes the stuff but then we turn it into a car or a rock wall or a barge. So G-d is the puzzle making company and we are the ones who get the puzzle and put it together to be something we need."

America...Look what we did!! Go Obama Go!!

Save us!! Let 'r Rip!! I know you can do it!!

But oh what an uphill battle..

You now G-d can make some pretty darn amazing things happen in this crazy world..

And some really terrible ones...

All the more reason to take a few moments and enjoy this amazing one! (-;

To Tear or Not To Tear

So this shabbos I was opening the plastic wrap on a jar of baby food.. They are perforated so I did not think anything about it.. However my husband thought it should be taken off before shabbos. I likened it to toilet paper.. perforated..and we don't pre-tear ours... So whats the difference? Maybe he is shifting into the pre-tear elite..
If anyone still follows this blog (been kinda inactive I know..) perhaps you have an opinion?
